Happy New Year to you and Happy New Book to me! It’s release day for the fourth book in the popular Snuggle Time series! What shall we do to celebrate? I know! Let’s do a three-book giveaway!
Like the three titles before it, Snuggle Time Bible Stories is a padded cover board book, perfect for little hands. Beginning with Creation and ending with Resurrection, this book contains thirteen of the best-loved Bible stories for little ones.
Keep reading to see some of my favorite illustrations and excerpts, and enter to win your own copy!
Snuggle Time Bible Stories begins like this:
This little book you’re holding
Tells stories that are true.
You’ll find them in the Bible,
They’re written just for you.
And as you turn the pages,
There’s something you should know.
This book has one big message-
God really loves you so!
Along with Old Testament favorites including God’s Good World (Creation); The Baby in a Basket (Moses); God Knows Your Name (Samuel), and The Little Boy and the Big Giant (David and Goliath), you’ll find The Snuggly Sheep; The Boat That Bobbed; A Brand-New Friend (Zacchaeus), and my personal favorite, Jesus Loves the Children:
Some children came to Jesus
One bright and sunny day.
“He’s busy!” the disciples cried.
“You’ll have to go away!”
But Jesus called the children
And sat them on his knee.
“I love you all,” he softly said.
“And you belong to me.”

My grandsons are adopted from China and I know they will love to see all the children of the world.
Oh, how special is that Jeanne!
These are perfect stories for my grandsons. They live too far away but I read to them when we call on Skype. I also think this book belongs in our nurseries at church and the library there. Thank you for an opportunity to win a copy.

Congratulations Phyllis! What fun that will be!
I love the illustrations! Once I see the book it might be hard to pick just one story I like best but I’m sure the story with Jesus and the children will be my fav or right up there!

Aww..thank you Kelly!
We love your books in our house! Right now my 3 yr old’s favorite book is Snuggle Time Christmas stories, I almost have it memorized. He would love to have this book to add to his collection!
Jesus loves the children might be my favorite!
Oh, thank you for telling me that Shannan! I’m so glad that your little one enjoys Snuggle Time Christmas Stories!
I love the ending “You belong to Me!”
Thank you for reaching into our hearts with a call to belong.
I love it as my favorite.
Thank you Christine! They are words we all need to own, for sure!
We love your books at our house!
Oh,thank you so much Katie!
I’m most excited to see how you rhymed the Zacchias story!!! I read it just yesterday and was struck by the fact that Jesus left the crowd to seek out Zacchias specifically. It reminded me of how the Shephard left the 99 to find the lost 1!
Melissa….telling these stories in only eight lines AND making them rhyme was tricky! But I think you’ll like the Zacchaeus one… it focuses on him finding a brand-new friend. 🙂
Pretty sure I will love all of the stories along with the little ones. So love your books. Excited to read your newest one.
Thank you for your encouragement to me Myrna!
Your books have been such a blessing to our family 💙 We always look forward to reading them together. I just listened to you reading “The Trusting Girl “ and I enjoyed it it very much – you have a beautiful and soothing voice . May God bless you abundantly in 2019.
