Meet The Sweet Sisters Discipleship group…

Although only four are pictured here, this group is made up of eight girls, aged between 8 and 10 years old. Recently, their mentor, Kristi, the fourth participator in my blog tour, introduced them to Love Letters from God: Bible Stories for a Girl’s Heart, and then wrote about their experience with it…

I loved listening to the girls read the book out loud to each other, and I really loved the questions that came up about each girl in the book.  We thought about times we tried to hide our sin the way Eve did, we talked about how we did something really brave to help our family members like Miriam did for her baby brother.  In fact Naomi and Julia P. both shared stories about how they saved their brother from a major catastrophe.  I think the girls were really able to relate to the characters and then reading the Love Letter from God on each page really brought home the fact that God loves us and wants us to choose to follow Him no matter what.

As an author, it’s so heart-warming to hear stories such as these and to know that God is at work through the pages of your book. The sweetest endorsement came from Kristi, who said…
